Kia ora! I’m a journalist from New Zealand. I like eating, drinking, dancing, travel, politics, arts, people and culture, and endeavour to write about all of these. My work has appeared in newspapers, magazines and news websites in New Zealand, Australia and the UK, including The Dominion Post, Sydney Morning Herald, The Melbourne Age and the Irish Independent. I am a three-time finalist in the New Zealand’s premier journalism awards, the Canon Media Awards, for student journalism, feature writing and news reporting. Next time I plan to win the damn thing.
